  • Please wash and/or rinse all glass containers. All rigid plastic cups containers can be recycled or kept for re-use. Please recycle or keep the recipe card for future use. 

    Leave bag with contents on your front porch every Monday and we will exchange that with a fresh bag of goodies for you!

  • Mad City Chefs does not use large commercial vehicles or modes of transportation to deliver our meal kits. Meal kits are assembled at our shared rental kitchen (Badger Prairie Needs Network) and driven to your door on the same day. All deliveries from Mad City Chefs will be made on your specified day (Monday or Tuesday) before 5:00 pm CST. Freshness is guaranteed up to 8pm on the same delivery day as requested.

     

    PERISHABLE ITEMS

    Highly perishable items (meat, seafood, liquid dairy products, etc.) will be vacuum packed and/or sealed and delivered with ice packs in our insulated reusable grocery bags maintaining a temperature of 41° F or less until 8pm. Remaining groceries/perishable items will be packaged in food safety containers/bags and delivered in the same insulated reusable grocery bag.

    RECYCLING YOUR CONTAINERS

    We take pride in the fact that we reuse some of our containers. In the spirit of conservation, we encourage you to leave your insulated reusable bags and designated reusable containers out prior to your next delivery so we can pick them up, wash and sanitize the bags/containers for reuse. Please see meal kit insert for further instructions.

    HOLIDAYS

    Deliveries will not be made on the day of major holidays. Customers will be notified via email of such schedule changes for when to expect delivery within the same week of expected delivery.

    Mad City Chefs will make every effort to place deliveries in areas where they will be protected from the elements. We encourage you to leave us special instructions (entryway codes, neighbor’s addresses, instructions to leave the delivery at the side door, etc.) that will help protect your delivery from weather exposure and potential theft. We also encourage you to supply a large cooler with ice pack(s) if you are not expected to be home for delivery. This will help with further protection from weather exposure and potential theft.

    In the event of bad weather, Mad City Chefs reserves the right to modify the delivery schedule. Customers will be notified via email of any changes.
